Turning 25

Apparently I am now a quarter of a century. I made an attempt to use my day to tour about Raleigh and capture a few good photos of my state's capitol. Well, my plans were foiled due to the fact that I wasn't feeling well after lunch.
I woke up this morning and received wonderful gifts. (Oh I love a good gift) My son gave me a tiara (the prettiest one I've ever owned), my daughter gave me a box of fine chocolates, and my husband graciously paid for it all (thank you Birthday Fairy).

 .

Afterwards, I went to a ladies' lunch at Biaggi's Ristorante Italiano. The food was supreme and the waiter was either hilarious or rude. I still haven't made up my mind about his behavior. We discussed life, lessons, and love; be it family, marriage, or God. It was all discussed.

On my way home I stopped by a cupcake shop I had seen on my way to the restaurant.  BTW: my husband and I lived and worked in the Cary/Morrisville are for over 3 years, and this was the first time I had ever heard of the restaurant or the cupcake shop. Either way I stopped in and talked to the assistant at the front counter. Everything in there looked great (hopefully they will sponsor Gilmore Glitz & Glam's up coming Boutique Tour).

I purchased the Turtle cupcake, which was cleverly named after the delicious candies. Can you image the chocolate, walnuts, and caramel oozing out the sides of the cupcake wrapper, simple screaming, "Eat me!" I took my little morsel home, added a candle, made a wish, and gave half of it away to my greedy son.

Either way, it doesn't matter. Turning 25 was awesome, and I have a feeling that 25 is going to be an AMAZING year.
