Ready. Set. Go!

5K? Who me?

I can't believe that I am even considering this but, I'm going to attempt to run/jog/walk/crawl a 5k (and in that order). I'm doing the Electric Run! Just imagine neon glow sticks and black lit attire whizzing by in the Raleigh Durham area.














I am doing this to support a friend in her training for the Boston Marathon in the far away future. But, in the mean time between time, she, myself, and a mutual friend are going to run in local events until our legs fall off. As an inexperienced runner I need to train. The event is in September so I have plenty of time to whip myself into shape.


My TO DO List includes:

  1. Building my endurance
  2. Swimming
  3. Pilates
  4. Dance classes
  5. Changing my eating habits (boo!)
  6. Purchasing some running sneakers
