"Allow me to reintroduce myself..."

My name is Tenisha Jon`ece (pronounced John-eese). This blog was created to help acclimate into a new lifestyle as being a Stay-At-Home-Mom (SAHM), being able to leave your home with the same amount (or at least close to) of confidence and sanity, and looking just as great as you did before you had kids. Yes, it's possible. ...maybe.

Need a recipe in a pinch that will dazzle your family while hiding vegetables, because your husband and kids gag at anything that has nutritional value? Been there, done that.

Do you suck at elaborate DIY's but the creative bug has bitten you, and you have a need to spray paint something? Ha! Yeah.

Not sure of how to pair certain looks, but you only have 5 minutes to leave the house, because your dear, dear husband has threatened to leave you home because you're taking forever? Wait...I'm not seeing an issue with that one.

Who is Tenisha?

I am first and foremost a Christian, and I pray that I exalt Christ in all I do, be it business, rearing a family, giving back to the community, or using my musical gifts. 

I am married to a wonderful man named Cornell. I have three wonderful kids; Anastasia, Lillian, and Cornell III (Tre). I am blessed to have known them thus far. 

As of right now I am working with the Miss North Carolina Plus America Pageant, a plus size pageant that will empower curvy gals like myself, give back, and make a state wide difference. I am eager to make a mark and touch lives through this program.

I am 26, I have a Bachelor's degree in English, I currently reside in Raleigh NC, I'm full figured, I'm a Curly Girl, I'm a Zeta, I love fashion, I love being an entrepreneur, I crave sweets, and more importantly I'm authentic.
