Who's the Real Nene Leakes?

So, I'm walking through the supermarket with my son this past week and we "accidentally" found the magazine isle. I'm skimming over the goods to see what's new in the world, and I pass by Sophisticate's Black Hair Styles and Care Guide. I promise you I was in a trance when I saw its cover. I stared at the woman saying, "I know this is supposed to be Nene Leakes, but why is she a white woman?"

What's wrong with these images?

You guys can sit here and say, "Oh Tenisha, you throwing shade" (or whatever you people are saying today), but I'm just stating facts. Nene started off one color, and according to this magazine she looks like she jumped races. She looks fake! I stared at that magazine, her makeup is caked on! Don't get me wrong, I love makeup as much as the next glamour girl, but there's a difference between a little bit of nose contouring and looking like you're from Anglo descent. Sure, one can blame it on the lighting. You can even say it was a poor choice in foundation color, but boo, whatever you're selling, I don't want it. What are you saying to little black girls out there? If you don't like your color, change it? That if you want to be on the cover of a magazine, one must be of a certain color? Didn't Oprah just televise something related to this topic? Get it together Sophisticates Black Hair Magazine. Get it together Ms. Leakes. On the other hand, I could have this all wrong. Maybe she has Alopecia?

That's All.
