Make Me Over Monday: January 2015 Ipsy Review
I love the clean theme that Ipsy's put together for January. It's about a fresh start. Tell me when's a better time to explore this theme than in January? A fresh, new year, some new resolutions, a fresh outlook on yourself, so why not a fresh face?
In this month's Ipsy bag, I received some great things. Some eye cream, a lip treatment, two eyeshadows, and a new eyeshadow brush. This was all perfect!
I was jonesing for a new eye cream. There's something about skincare and prevention that makes me feel like I'm making a long-term effort to maintain myself. The Nourish Organic Renewing Eye Cream is light weight and perfect for younger girls who are getting a jump-start on their skin care. Some young women may say that they're too young to need these products. WRONG!! Start now and don't regret it later.
The (MALIN+GOETZ) Mojito Lip Balm daily lip treatment is absolutely awesome! My lips feel smooth and soft. I was going to use the word supple, but I kind of hate the that word...supple..I shudder at the thought. Great for winter weather beaten, chapped lips. It's truly instant relief (and great under other lip color.
The eyeshadows that I've received are sort of neutral. One is Bellá Pierre Shimmer Powder in gold (Really Tenisha? Another Gold?), and the other is Pacifica Natural Mineral Coconut Eye Shadow. It's a shimmery white or cream color, and is well pigmented and smooth. The Bellá Pierre Shimmer Powder is well pigmented as well(*Tip: wet the brush for a different effect).
Finally the Elizabeth Mott All Over Shadow Brush eyeshadow brush is much thicker and more dense than any other that I've ever owned. It's very soft and easy to clean.
So, this is my review of my January 2015 Ipsy Bag.
Until next time,
