Things have been rather interesting lately. Over the past couple of weeks I've been stressing over the auditions for the Ms. Full Figured North Carolina pageant.
They've moved the start date back, so Sunday was the informational meeting instead of the actual interview. I've learned a lot at this past meeting and I am so excited to get started.
The Ms. Full Figured North Carolina Pageant is the North Carolina division of the Ms. Full Figured USA pageant, which was founded in New York. This is the first Ms. Full Figured Pageant to be hosted in North Carolina, so it would mean a lot to be its first Ms.
I have to secure a few things. Major items include funding and my dress, while minor items include workshops, sponsors, and several other pageant related items.
This is going to be so exciting. Now all I have to do is nail the audition. I'm a bit nervous because the competition already looks tough, and there are plenty of other ladies that I still haven't met. I will keep my self poised, confident, and calm until March 15th. I'll keep you posted.
