Fashion Fridays: Wedding Edition- Dress Code

The wedding season is upon us. So many friends, sisters, neighbors, and third removed cousins are tying the knot. So far I know of four. Oh goodie! I love weddings. I love marriage. But, for some of us out there, it's hard to determine what to wear to each occasion. White Tie, Dressy Casual, Black Tie Creative (that's really a choice). Well, no worries. I am offering you a quick guide on the what's what of the wedding attendee world and its dress code.

But first this HILARIOUS trailer from Buzzfeed

For a White tie event, may I suggest a full length gown, and a pair of gloves for the perfect finishing touch.

For a Black tie event, again a long formal gown, but at least you can ditch the gloves. Another option includes a very dressy LBD or cocktail dress.

Black Tie creative....just add a whimsical or fun accessory.

Semi-formal attire may consist of dressy separates, a cocktail dress, a long skirt and top, or a less formal floor length dress.

When attending a wedding stated as Business formal, you may wear a business style dress, or a business dress and jacket. One other option is an actual dressy pantsuit.

For a Business Casual look, simply throw on a light or bright dress, or a skirt and open collar shirt.

For Dressy Casual, get funky but remain dressy. Try a long skirt two piece. Just be creative.

I hope this helps you.

Until next time,
