Cornell and I had planned to renew our vows earlier this year for our fifth anniversary. We didn't have the opportunity to have the wedding of MY dreams. We decided that we would wait and have a reception that would make David Tutora drop his jaw in awe. Well, our fifth anniversary came and went and nothing happened. Maybe it was a funds issue. Perhaps it was the tiredness of our new/third baby. Either way, I was sorely disappointed.
I don't want much. A pretty blush dress, my man in a tux, and a new ring. A cocktail, mocktail, and macaroon hour, a buffet, a dessert bar, and a kick butt dj with a light up dance floor. Oh, and of course have the littles participate as flower girls and ring bearers. I want floor to ceiling drapes to be the backdrop of our ceremony, as we recite our own vows. Oh, and it needs to be in warmer weather. Our wedding was in January. Brrrr.
More importantly, I just want to say I do and I love you, all over again. Although we may have been robbed of that special moment, five years ago, I do believe we have taken away great qualities that have kept our marriage going.
Until next time,
