Today was a fashion blunder. Not because of my styling. No. THAT WAS ON POINT. There was a fashion event this evening and I ended up leaving the house a tad bit late, and then wandered around downtown Raleigh for an hour trying to find a parking spot. So...guess who missed the evenHit? Moi! There was ample parking available on side streets and in the parking garage, but I'm alone and not willing to put any of my gorgeousness in harm's way.
I was looking for a well lit spot with a well let path to the event space. I wanted a spot that offers plenty witnesses which equals safety in my eyes. One hour. ONE HOUR TO FIND THIS GEM OF A PARKING SPACE...and I missed a very fashionable event.
Side note: I'm all for equal pay and respect, but can they make women's only parking spots after dark. The spots closest to the venues are reserved for lonely women. That sounds bad, but you know what I mean.

I missed a spectacular event. That's fine. I meet up with a few familiar faces:
We laughed, we joked, we looked fabulous, we grabbed a few selfies. It was fun. I did a bit of marketing, so it wasn't a complete bust
