I told my husband that I wasn't really in the mood to celebrate Mother's Day this year. His response was, "Yeah right!" I guess he thinks I'm setting him up, and that I really expect a present no matter what. This Mother's Day will be busy. We have church, which means I'll be up and moving around by 5 a.m. I guess I have to skip breakfast in bed this year Sigh. We won't be leaving church until 12:50 p.m., which means it's a quick lunch and naptime as soon as we get back to the house. Around 3 p.m., the little people should rise fresh and shiny. From there the husband will be leaving for work around 6 p.m. and then of course bedtime at 8 and 9 p.m. Please, don't think I will be wide awake and up after they're down. I do have a few hours during naptime. I'll probably settle down with a little ice cream (probably a Magnum Ice cream Bar), a new magazine, and an hour of trying/enjoying newly purchased goodies from the beauty aisle of Walgreens or Target. I've got my eye on the e.l.f. Lip Exfoliator. I've tried it before but I would like more please. I already love the Maybelline Color Elixir lip color but I'd like to try it in Breathtaking Apricot. I need a new EOS lip balm. The kids ruined the last one, so it's only fitting that I get a new one on Mother's Day...preferably in Lemon Drop. Thanks. (Yes, I'm talking to the Mother's Day Genie) A new polish would be lovely....Revlon Parfumerie Scented Nail Enamel in Fresh Linen. I think that's pretty much it. I'm a cheap date ;) Oh and those flowers we sort of said I have no time for, I would like a bouquet of those please. HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!
