Lights, Camera, Actiong: Prepping for a Stage Play
As July 12th, the date of the upcoming play I mentioned a little while ago (One of Those Women), draws near, I'm looking back at previous productions that I've been a part of.
In college, I've preferred to be behind the scene, working and busting my hump in others' productions. In high school, I remember being on stage, working my way up from the chorus section to a few great supporting roles. I've even had the opportunity to play the antagonist, which I LOVED!!! How many people can proudly say, "I got to be a bad girl"? I know I can.
So now, years later, I'm excited to announce that I'm back on stage, and this time I'm performing in a play that I co-wrote. I have the pleasure of working with a group of talented women, who want to share their story and oppose what society thinks of our roles as women. We're redefining the stigmas, and it would be awesome to see you there.
Until next time,
