What's Happened to You TenishaJonece?!

This past month has been rather .... um... how shall I say this.... uh, oh, BUSY?!  Yeah that sounds about right. I haven't been posting due to the lack of time and energy. Please don't think I've run away and abandoned my blog. I'm still here and I hope some of you are here too.
I know it's been a while since I've posted something. So here's an update of what we've both missed.

1: September 30th. Tre's Bowling Birthday Bash. Twas a success! He had a marvelous time. His guests had a marvelous time. It was super inexpensive thanks to the great people at The Alley on Hillsborough st. (On NC States campus). We paid for an hour of bowling, but I swear we were there forever. We had pizza, burgers, ice cream cake, and lots of fun. Some kids bowled with assistance, while others simply threw they're balls down the lanes. Tre even received a "Bad Piggy" bowling ball as a gift from his grandmother. Best part...I didn't stress...too much any way.

2: October 5th. Cornell's Birthday! My mom was in town (assisting me with the hardships of this awful pregnancy) and Cornell decided he wanted to do something for his birthday. We made it to the movie theater, and a good 2 minutes into the movie, we're (I'm) having horrible contractions that I'm attempting to just breathe through. No dice. We eventually leave the movie (drats!) and head to the hospital, which is right up the road from the theater.  We're there for what seems like forever, and then we're sent home only one centimeter more dilated than before. (Double DRATS!) What a waste.

3: October 8th. Anastasia Juliette enters the world at 10:47 pm weighing 7 lbs. and 5 oz. I unfortunately had the opportunity to go through labor and delivery without any kind of medication. My husband was disappointed in my behavior. HA!! Kiss my un-numbed butt, good sir! In other news, I delivered Stacie at Raleigh's REX hospital. I do believe there shall be a post about the comparisons between REX and Wake Med (where I've delivered Tre and Lilly).

4: October 10th - Current. Sleep deprivation... the real reason why I'm not talking to you readers out there. Let me catch up on my Zzz's and I promise to be more faithful to you. Mkay?

5: October 21st. MY BIRTHDAY!!! Year 25 came and went. I enjoyed it. It was a really relaxed day. I watched some tv, ate a few cookies, tried shrimp po boys for the first time, receive my free Birthday Brows from Benefit, and felt loved by my family and friends who wished me well. Maybe I'll post some of my reflections and hopes for the new year.

6: October 23rd. Can day at the NC State Fair. It was so much fun. The admission was waived, but the actives and food were still as costly as usual. Tre won a few prizes on his own (such a big boy!!). Also on the 23rd, I decided to dye my hair now that I am over a quarter of a century in age. We tried a box color, and I must admit that I am not satisfied with the outcome (the box is a friggin liar!). But I did try a new product that has left my hair manageable and moisturized like never before. More about this is to come.

7: October 25th: SAU Homecoming! Uh...Meh.

Until next time,
