Family First: Bath Time Equals Play Time

I know every childs' bath time tends to run rather long due to the splashing, diving, and swimming that occurs in between scrubbing behind one's ears and elbows. But, I feel as if our bath time takes FOREVER! I'll tell you why.
Shortly after Lillian was born, my M-I-L purchsed Tre a set of bathtub crayons, and everytime she visits, there are always at least two packs left behind for her favorite grandson.

Now that Tre is reading and spelling, bath time has turned into a grammer lesson everyday mixed in with a bit of art class. I don't mind the amount of time he spends in there, because he loves to learn and play. I just can't wait to see what he'll spell or draw next time.

His most recent drawing was a stick figure self portrait. I find it very well drawn. The boy looks very animated. Honestly, I've tried to recreate the image on paper and it never looks as thrilled as the bathtub art.

You can grab a pack of Crayola Bathtub Crayons at Babies R Us for only 5.99.
