Family First: Living with two little Naturals

Stacy and Lily's curl pattern is as different as their personalities. And just like their personalities one is a bit coarser than the other.
For instance Lily will need a tiara and a tutu, while Stacy will need a tiara and combat boots. Lily can't bare to watch a fight scene in any movie,  while Stacy malls and attacks any and all with extreme vigor. One is the princess of the pliĆ©, while the other one will be the princess of paintball. Perhaps life is just equipping them for their futures... I'm talking about their hair. The child who has finer hair, perhaps her lifestyle won't require that much protection on her head. While my other little girl has a hair texture that will protect her like a helmet.

Although I am painting a picture that makes them seem very different, they are very much still sisters. They have a few similarities, one of them includes not wanting to sit still while their hair is being cared for. Another similarity is the fact that they both have the same natural hair care regimens. Their system is similar for right now. I need to apply a moisturizer, oil, and a sealant. No matter what, this will be the constant for their hair care. Every natural needs these three things.  I may do a twist out on Stacy's hair and I will do a braided style on Lillian, but the products are still the same for now. Because at this current moment this is what their hair requires. But things won't always be this way eventually their hair care needs will change. So, while I have a ballerina and a soldier today, just like their hair curl patterns, I may have something different tomorrow.

Until next time,
