I discovered ByKikiSol by meeting one of its creators (Nekita) at a blogging/business seminar and meet up. Loved her to pieces. We connected on the social interwebs and I've been stalking following their work ever since. ByKikiSol is going to go far, you can tell by their work ethic and profesionalism. Most importantly, you can tell by their events.

The first byKikiSol event I went to was their Curvy Exchange: A plus size clothes swap. IT. WAS. AWESOME. I still cling to most of the pieces that I've found there. But, more importantly, they brought the Plus Size community together to fellowship...over fashionable clothes. There we so many vendors to keep us occupied and entertained. Women walked away with a few loved on pieces and some new jewelry, polish, makeup, and a few defense weapons....Do yourself a favor and look up Damsel in Defense.

The next event I attended was the Style Symposium: Share. Teach. Empower. The style symposium. Curvy in a straight size world. They taught quite a bit in such a short amount of time. For example: everything starts with confidence. You could come in looking like a bum, but your walk can change everything. This moderated yet open discussion event hosted by ByKikiSol is desperately needed. We discussed confidence and self love. We talked about how to help the curvy daughters/next generation and instilling a positive characteristics into their being. We went over the subject of what looks good on whom, knowing your weaknesses and your strengths, knowing what you look good in and knowing what you don't, and avoid the latter. And, most importantly, false confidence will kill you. We've discussed marketing and and how big business sees the plus size consumer. The next symposium is offering how to dress, and putting items together. Can't wait. Self confidence is your best outfit, so rock it.
