Make Me Over Monday: A Beauty DIY For Longer Hair, Just Add Pepper!




Want longer locks? What if I told you that growth is only a shake of cayenne pepper away?


First and foremost, I was nervous to try this hair DIY. I thought the treatment might burn my scalp. I first found out about this treatment 14 weeks ago from Instagramer, Blogger and YouTuber, Beautiful Kendra. Although her hair is relaxed, this treatment still intrigued me. I asked her if it was uncomfortable, and she assured me that it would be a refreshing tingle.



So, it's refreshing. I'm going to try it for a few months and tell you my results.
Want to try it too? Here's the recipe:

  • 2 tbsp of powdered cayenne pepper
  • 4 oz. of olive oil

  1. Shake ferociously and apply to your scalp.
  2. Rinse off in a few hours (it depends on you). Honestly you can leave it in overnight.
  3. Wash/co-wash as usual.
