Sunday Afternoon Tea: August 30th 2015

Hello all. This is the last Sunday Afternoon Tea for the month of August in the year 2015. I am so excited to share a fashion DIY, my search for a planner, some blogging tips for my fellow bloggers, and a cute coffee tumbler that has my name all over it.

I am in need of a new planner. My new one for this upcoming school year has been stolen "magically disappeared". So, I'm on the hunt for a new planner. One that will suit all of my organizational needs, as well as being pleasing to the eye. I appreciate Heart & Moxie for doing a few side by side comparisons to help with the selection.

I know that most of you are absolutely perfect when it comes to your blogging and social media planning and interaction. But, for the rest of us, this may seem like a more difficult task. I'm right there with you. Sometimes keeping up with blogging and social media makes me a bit dizzy. Thank goodness Leveala created a wonderful system to keep you and I up to par with our blogging. September is practically here. It's time to find that perfect Fall jacket, coat, or cape. Because of my size, I HATE dislike coat shopping. Nothing looks fantastic on my body. I need something large enough, that still shows of curves and womanly figure. But alas, each year the stores let me down. This year, I'm busting out the sewing machine and getting to work on this DIY fashion cape from Bead and Cord.

As I began the search for a new coffee tumbler to take on the colder months, I assumed I would find some cute little cup from Starbucks, or Lilly Pulitzer, or perhaps even Ban.do. I say nay nay to all of those choices. They are all awesome, but this one takes ALL OF MY CAKE. I started screaming at my computer screen and making it rain: "PLEASE PLEASE, TAKE MY MONEY! THIS HERE TWENTY DOLLARS AMERICAN CURRENCY IS WORTH MY PURCHASE! I MUST HAVE ONE OF YOUR WITTY AND TRUTHFUL CUPS! Have you ever heard of the Better Together pouch? I swear this reinvented Trapper Keeper will take over the entire organization game. You know my generation loves an item, that you can put other items in, and then put said item in your bag. We're weird like that. But I really want one though.
