Stop blaming the devil for your circumstances, because he’s not omniscient. God is the cause of your trials. But he cannot take credit for temptation. Because after all the Lord does not tempt.
1. Brings you closer to God (you pray more, when you’re going through something)
2. It gives you an opportunity to worship regardless of your pain. His glory is still shown.
3. When you finally come through, you can only give credit to where it’s due (to God, because honestly we cannot do it alone)
4. It reminds you not to get too attached to this world, because eventually it will pass away.
There are times when we ask why Lord why? Why is this happening to me? But, at the end of the trial you have an “ah-ha” moment, because you see that your trial really does have a purpose.
But, we need to stop asking God to deliver us from our trials and instead embrace them (I’m talking to myself right now). Because after all, he has already delivered me from death and destruction. Everything else he does is a bonus.
