Baby Girl Goes Pink

Sweet Baboo Gets Pink Tootsies!
Ever since I could remember, I have always been wearing fingernail polish. I remember my mommy prepping my toddler mani/pedi. The color was fuchsia and I loved it! So much that I attempted to paint my own nails when my mother wasn't watching. I left a big nasty stain on her bedspread, sheets, and mattress. It was bigger than the size of a hockey puck. She wasn't that mad when she found the spill covered by toilet paper. She called me in there and asked me if I did it. I confessed with a few tears, and then she let me off the hook with a warning and reminded me not to touch the pretty polishes without her permission.

Any who, time to keep the tradition going. I decided to paint my Sweet Baboo's tootsies pink. The hubby insisted that I wait until she was sleep so she wouldn't squirm as much. So much for that plan. Every time I went to touch her toenails she pulled her foot away. So, I used the remover and a Q-tip to dab away the mistakes. And every girl knows that remover is COLD! So, when I used that she pulled away again. It was a task but it came out great!!!

I decided to paint my nails too. I had been watching the little Mermaid (which is where Lillian's middle name came from, but we spell it Arielle). I am absolutely terrified with Ursula the Sea Witch. It's the way she switches from human to octopus and crawls on the wedding ship . . . Any way, when I took a moment to notice something other than the goosebumps I get when I see her, I saw her makeup and polish!  Maybe the red lip and the blue and gray are a bit much, but the woman has a fab do (look at the volume in that hair!), and those teeth are magnificent  Not to mention she's wearing black a black evening gown (or at least her lower body is black), making her look Black tie Ball ready! I took a cue from the villain I hate and tried red nails with a red lip.
BTW: Queen La makes Ursula look AMAZING!

Is Bey playing Alice????

BACK ON TOPIC PUH-LEESE!!

When I wear this for real, I'll go for a matte lip and a mohawk-y do.
Ignore my makeup-less look, but enjoy the goofy faces.
