All About the Glam: Are You Wasting Money on Monthly Beauty Subscriptions?

Are You Wasting Money on Monthly Beauty Subscriptions?

Monthly beauty subscriptions are a godsend if you ask me. They come in different price settings, they allow you to try out new products, and you learn about product lines you wouldn't have even known existed.

I subscribe to the Ipsy bag as a gift from one of my very best friends. I look forward to that hot pink, bubble wrap package each month. I love its trial size and its one full size items. All the fun without the commitment. I've fallen in love with new products, and I've had the opportunity to meet up with more familiar ones. It's definitely worth it.

Recently I went on Instagram and saw a fellow blogger voice her disappointment with the current bag. I wondered why she hated 3 out of 5 products, especially since we received the same exact items. One of her responses was something along the lines of her not chancing her skin with some of the products. I told her that I enjoyed them and that I love being adventurous when dealing with beauty products. I'll swipe on practically anything. But, this made me question her choice to continue the subscription. What's the point of paying every month if we refuse to try the items? This isn't a jab at another blogger, but I am asking why do we keep these subscriptions if we're not willing to experiment? Are there any products that you receive in your monthly subscriptions that you refuse to use? What do you do with the unwanted/misfit items?
