Full Figured Woes: He Doesn't Like'em Thick.

Plus size women may be changing the business and views of the fashion industry, but acceptance from the opposite sex is still a task that is slow in progression.
I opened Facebook on my browser and found that a friend of mine is posting his affection and adoration for the curvier breed of woman. The picture that he posts is a recreated photoshoot of a Sports Illustrated cover, replacing the "average" models for ones with more curves. I smiled inside and said, "Good for you." He's not letting size deter him from making a connection with a woman.

I began to think that the plus size community was starting to find acceptance. Boy, was I ever wrong. By scrolling down and reading the comments, man restored its ignorant and idiotic status that he has always maintained. Great job, jerks. I was even slightly disappointed with the initial poster for calling himself a "chubby chaser". When you label something like that, it's seen as a fetish instead of something natural; like there's something wrong with his preference. No. You're a man, attracted to attractive women. Own it. And, to those of you who doubt that plus size women are less than fair, perhaps you ought to taste the Koolaid before scrunching up your face, and turning up your nose. After all, Plus Size is Pretty (I should make that a shirt!)

I want to know how you all feel about the attention that curvy girls are receiving from the opposite sex. Is it positive? Is it negative? Sound off!
