So, there’s a lot going on with the G-Unit right now (G stands for Gilmore). From summer break to ear piercings, I’ve got it all covered.
Tre
Mr. Tre has finished preschool this week. Monday was his very last day. I’m a little sad to see it end. He’s flourished so much under the care of his teachers. I’ll miss receiving fantastic artworks that he creates within the adventurous wall of that classroom. I can’t wait for Kindergarten next year! Well, maybe I can. Until then, it’s time for SUMMER BREAK!!!!! Together, Tre and I have made a list of things to do this summer. We’re going to the movies, parks, the zoo, aquariums, bowling, the pool, the Lego store, Guitar Center, and indoor bouncy parks. That should be enough to fill up the summer right? We’ll see.
Lilly
Little Miss Lilly is having issues with her clogged tear ducts again. We’ve had an operation before, but unfortunately, the procedure didn’t take. Now, we’re starting the task of getting this operated on all over again. It sucks to have to put her out again, but these closed ducts are leading to her ears and nose being constantly congested (which could be the reason for her speech issues… I’ll check into that). The congestion forces her to breathe through her mouth: Enter germs and bad breath. So, we want to nip it in the bud before it becomes a serious issue.
Stacie
Stacie Cakes recently got her ears pierced that Thursday. We went to Pagoda Piercings, which is where Lilly had her procedure done as well. I don’t know how Stacie knew, but the girl was hip to the situation before I even took her out of her stroller. She made the saddest little face, as if to say “Something’s not right. I don’t like it here.” It only got worse as we sat down and tried to her ears marked for precision. What I like most about Pagoda Piercing is the insurance plan: as long as you have the earring, and your piercing closes, they’ll reopen it for free. Also, they’ll call in a few weeks to create an appointment to check on the piercing. AWESOME.
Until next time,
