Family First: Playing in Dirt

Sorry for the delay of this post. Planning next year's MNCPA pageant is sucking up all of my blogging time.  Enough of the excuses. Here's Family First: Playing in Dirt.

My husband found these cute little DIY learn & grow growing kits at Target, and thought it would be an excellent addition to the flowers that are already growing on our balcony. At first I wasn't really feeling them. And then I thought, "this would be a great project for me and the kids." So, I tried one, loved it, and I set up a station for the kids and I to get to work.

Tre refused to participate, but Lilly dove straight into the dirt. I loved her enthusiasm. I knew she would enjoy this, especially since she makes a big to-do when I go out to water the plants we already own.

Hands down, I would recommend this to all parents and tots. Buzzy Seeds has provided a great (and convenient) learning experience and you can't help but to have fun. And if they die, just start over, because they're only a buck! Warning though, things may get a little dirty.

Until next time
