Sunday Afternoon Tea: September 6th 2015

September is upon us and my busy months are here. We are about to prepare for five birthday parties, four holidays, three sets of in-laws, two family trips, and our anniversary. September to January we don't stop. Crap I forgot about Valentine's Day. Oh well. In this installation of Sunday Afternoon Tea, I'm going to give you links to plan back to back parties, decorate your home with some really great DIY, add a little gold in your life with guilding, how to stay in touch with your spouse during these stressful and trying seasons, and of course how to keep your kids alive by not skipping a meal with another crock pot recipe.

Want to make these Crockpot Brown Sugar Balsamic Glazed Pork Tenderloins Laura's way. Sure you need to do a few extra steps, but the caramelized goodness may definitely be worth it. Thank you Laura's Sweet Spot for sharing this wonderful recipe.

Have you ever been bit by the gilding bug? Or perhaps you like to call it, having the Midas touch. Either way, it's when you see a great looking item, but you realize that it's missing something... It needs to be drenched in gold paint. Gold makes everything better. Right? Here are 7 DIY PROJECTS FOR A GILDED TABLE from Handmade Charlotte.

Let's keep the decor mood going. While I've got you fired up to spray some spray paint, let's find a few other things you can do around the house. View Along the Way offers us a bunch of inexpensive projects that they have tackled. Maybe they'll inspire you to take on a mess of your own.

Tre's birthday is first. One week later it's my husband's birthday. Two days later it's Stacie's first birthday. Thirteen days later it's my birthday. Then Halloween. Then it's Lilly's birthday. Five days later and then it's Thanks Giving. One month later it's Christmas. Then obviously there's New Years. And shortly afterwards it's our wedding anniversary. Oh and then Valentine's day a few weeks after that. Not to mention, let's sprinkle in the chance of maybe having to move, my m-i-l's retirement party, a football game in Baltimore, Maryland, school activities, extra curricular activities, my businesses, and a few other things I know I'm forgetting. How in the world am I going to plan all of these things? Thank goodness I've found a little help in the party department. My husband is turning 30 and want to do something. I've found a guide to help me through it.  Thank you Card Store!

With everything that's going to take place in the busy ahead of us, married couples really need to take some time to stay connected through this stressful period. I'm interested in keeping our date nights great, our prayer time sacred, our days together amusing, and our sex life spicy.
