Looks include the romantic Dolce & Gabbana, coveted Louis Vuitton, stylish Trina Turk, classic St. John, bohemian Anthropologie, J. Crew, Betsey Johnson and more! 

Wine, shopping, swag bags, and a fabulous fashion show featuring church family, and a group of great gals to soak it all in with. (I had no idea that they were all going to be there.) I really had a great time. As you enter Nora & Nicky's on 19 West Hargett Street Suite 104 Raleigh, NC you're immediately hit with an intoxicating scent. Candles are lit and provide a warm welcome. Candles are available for purchase. Perched on a cute little table are delectable eats and wine, just in case you need a little nosh. From there, you can mix and mingle with other guests and shop their high end yet moderately priced collection of pieces.

There is a hot magenta COACH clutch that a few of us are coveting. One friend found an adorable set of sterling silver finger rings. I fell in love with locally made gold PANKY RANG. Yes, you have to say it that way. Another friend and myself noticed that the boutique also deals art. Wait... What?! Nora & Nicky's is a mash up of fashion, home comforts, and an art gallery. This consignment shop is a home to so many different facets, from big name fashion power houses to local designers. The best part? They compliment each other.

The fashion show is then announced and the fun really begins. Models come out in several different looks and pose for several minutes for an interactive modeling experience. We were invited to walk up to the models and examine the pieces. I'm not going to lie, I tried to make some of the models that I know smile. Hilarious stuff. Got you Courtney and Brandy! I love the idea of interactive mannequins. Not only do you see the options that are styled for you, but you have the opportunity to see the movement of the garment and how it looks naturally.

 Whilst leaving, I received my VIP swag bag. What's inside? One of their deliciously scented candles that I experienced upon arrival, a bath fizz (which I shall enjoy once the kids are asleep), a beaded necklace in my favorite color (how'd you know that I love pink?), chocolates that I'm about to dive into as soon as I'm finished with this post, and a plethora of deals from other local shops on the very same street. Thanks a bunch Nora and Nicky's!
